First Semester's Finally Over

Wow sorry I haven't been on in forever to update. I couldn't remember how to log onto my own blog and I was too lazy to do the whole retrieval process. So first sememster came and went, and I don't know about you but it sure was a hassle for me. I started out Doing choir, Honors Chemistry, Honors Math, Honors English, Ap World History, and Spanish at the beggining of the year. After a few weeks of my first AP class I've ever taken, I realized that it was....ummmm....really really HARD! I was failing it! So to get out I had to rearrange my entire schedule and that was a pain in the butt, especially since my counsellor is a little, pissy, meany, poo-poo face. So sadly, I ended up having to leave my choir class and become a T.A. for the freshmen Men's Choir, which is actually really fun :] all my best friends cute little brothers are in there and their cute friends. Freshmen are just all cute, like little puppy dogs.

So anyways, I had my final exams for all my classes last week, and I didn't do too shabby. I got a 78% on my Chemistry, history, and english tests, an 87.7% on my math, and a 97% on my Spanish. I only missed 3 questions on my spanish exam :] so I ended up with B's in all my honors classes which are weighted to A's, I got an A+ in my spanish class, and my history grade is undetermined, no thanks to my poopy counsellor.

On an unrelated and much happier note, I've written more songs on my guitar! I have 5 completed songs and two more coming to you soon. I've also expanded my skill range by learning how to pick individual notes and make it not sound bad :] I can play many songs now including Jason Mraz-I'm Yours, All American Rejects-Swing Swing, Jack Johnson-Castle in the Sky, Tracy Bonham-Naked, various Yellowcard songs, and now I'm trying to learn Flyleaf-I'm so Sick, but it's proved to be a difficult one to master....or even learn the intro to.

Afton and Mom both had their Birthdays in November and we spent Thanskgiving with my mom's grandparents and dad at Hometown Buffet. It wasn't too bad, at least we didn't have to make dinner or clean it up, and once you got past the weird smell lingering in the restraunt not completely hidden by the turkey smell, the place was pretty quiet and the waiters were nice.

This Christmas we decided to start a new tradition called the 12 Days of Christmas where for the 12 Days before Christmas, we get a small (or sometimes, rather large) gift. We are also modifying the 12 Days of Christmas song to match the gifts we've been receiving. Here's what we've gotten so far...in song form! Yay!

On the first day of christmas my parents gave to me, a lovely coffee machine

On the second day of christmas my parents gave to me, four fluffy pillows, and a lovely coffee machine

On the third day of christmas my parents gave to me, one Singer sewer, four fluffy pillows, and a lovely coffee machine

On the fourth day of christmas my parents gave to me, dulce de leche (hot chocolate), one Singer sewer, four fluffy pillows, and a lovely coffee machine

On the fifth day of christmas my parents gave to me, a flatscreen tv! do do do do, dulce de leche, one Singer sewer, four fluffy pillows, and a lovely coffee machine

On the sixth day of christmas my parents gave to me,some scented oils, a flatscreen tv! do do do do, dulce de leche, one Singer sewer, four fluffy pillows, and a lovely coffee machine

On the seventh day of christmas my parents gave to me, a black leather sofa, some scented oils, a flatscreen tv! do do do do, dulce de leche, one Singer sewer, four fluffy pillows, and a lovely coffee machine

On the eighth day of christmas my parents gave to me, some more shiny pillows, a black leather sofa, some scented oils, a flatscreen tv! do do do do, dulce de leche, one Singer sewer, four fluffy pillows, and a lovely coffee machine

and today is the ninth day. I think we must have skipped some days accidentally, but i'll get back to you with the rest of the song :] Have a Merry Christmas!

Wow, I want to come live at your house. I got a camera (that I bought myself) a week before Christmas and a gift card to Buckle. :) I think 12 gifts would have been mighty nice.

Yea! You finally updated your blog! Glad to hear you are doing well. The kids still talk about your visit last summer. Say Hi to everyone for me!
